Professional Groups

Around The World Travel works with professional organizations such as the National Association of African American Studies and Affiliates who hold conferences in different areas of the world. Attendees participate in professional meetings and also cultural experiences. Area activities are organized specifically for their friends and family who accompany them.

Around The World Travel invites you to experience some of these destinations and participate in the activities and experiences that are organized for the friends and family.

Visit the cities of Beijing, Guilin and Shanghai. We will depart the US on May 29th and arrive in Beijing on May 30th where we will spend 3 days visiting the top attractions in Beijing (Great Wall, Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven, Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square).

We will fly to Guilin for another 3 days where we will visit the rice terraces as well as cruise the River Li before flying to the modern city of Shanghai for our final 2 days. We will return to US out of Shanghai on June 7th.

Join us on a 10-day trip to Port Elizabeth, South Africa in mid-June!  NAAAS members will be attending a conference at Nelson Mandela University in Port Elizabeth. Area activities will be planned including an evening safari that will be organized for group members and their families and friends.

NAAAS members, friends and family will be visiting Tokyo, Japan during the period of the Summer Olympics (July 24th- August 9th, 2020).

Accommodations, flights and area activities will be organized by NAAAS and Around The World Travel. People who wish to attend the Olympics will be responsible for securing tickets for the specific events they wish to attend.
